To field ground balls put your feet in a triangular shape and put your glove on the ground with your hand about 5 in. above it. When the ball comes into your and close your hand on top of it.

To catch a popup/pop fly, put your glove in the air above your hand. When the ball come into your glove, close it with your dominant hand. (Tip: If you are right-handed, put your glove on your left hand and throw with your right hand and vice versa.)
